KJulieApplet

KJulieApplet is a small KDE panel module for controlling the Julie jukebox daemon. It provides pause, skip, banish, and song name display functions.

Due to popular demand I've been forced to put up some screenshots...

• This is what the applet looks like in the panel, you just have skip and pause buttons:

  

• If you right click on skip, there is a floating menu that also allows you to banish the current song:

  

• When the mouse cursor hovers over the applet, a tooltip appears displaying the currently-playing track name:

  

• If the Julie daemon isn't running, or exits, the buttons are greyed out. It now also reconnects when the daemon is restarted:
